Placement Testing

Diagnostic testing is a tool used to evaluate a student’s strengths and weaknesses in order for a customized learning program to be assigned.

It is used to pinpoint learning deficiencies and areas that need to be accelerated. It measures student’s skills and abilities in Math, Reading Comprehension, English, and Spelling. Test results will help parents start on a path to success.

Students are unable to progress in a subject such as Reading or Mathematics without the proper foundation. Oftentimes when a student declares they do not like a subject or struggle with a subject, it is because they do not have a strong enough foundation to master the concepts placed before them. When they are forced to continue learning at a higher level without rebuilding the necessary foundation to master the basic concepts, it causes them to shut down and quit.

Diagnostic testing is offered year-round as the perfect tool to determine the appropriate grade level in which a student should begin their academic journey. It is also a very helpful resource to measure progress when used again after a 12-24 month period. This test is found to be enjoyable by students.
